Records from Turkey: Erzurum and Van Provinces (“ L. tuberosa ” Oezkan 1982); Kayseri Province (” L. tuberosa ” Özkan et al. 1996); Elazıġ Province (” L. tuberosa ” Erman & Özkan 2000; ” L. tuberosa ” Erman et al. 2006b); Erzurum Province (” L. tuberosa ” Boyacı & Özkan 2007a).

Habitat: Crenobiont or at least crenophilous.

Distribution: Western, central and south-eastern Europe, restricted to higher mountain ranges.
