Records from Turkey: Van Province ( Oezkan 1982); Kayseri Province ( Özkan et al. 1996); Elazıġ Province (Erman & Özkan 2000); Afyon Province (Aşçı et al. 2006 – 2007); Ardahan Province (“ Hydryphantes lamellatus ” Aşçı & Özkan 2006).

Habitat: Temporary and permanent stagnant waters.

Distribution: Palaearctic except Fennoscandia.
