Records from Turkey: Bitlis, Erzurum, Hakkari and Muş Provinces ( Oezkan 1982); Kayseri Province ( Özkan et al. 1996); Elazıġ Province (Erman & Özkan 2000; Erman et al. 2006b); Afyon Province (Özkan et al. 2003; Boyacı & Özkan 2003; Aşçı et al. 2006 – 2007).

Habitat: Standing and slowly flowing waters.

Distribution: Western Palaearctic.
