Records from Turkey: Erzurum Province ( Oezkan 1982; Boyacı & Özkan 2007a); Elazıġ Province (Erman & Özkan 2000).

Habitat: Low-order streams (preferably in riffle areas) of higher mountain ranges. Distribution: Central Europe, Mediterranean.
