Diagnosis. Body oblong, parallel-sided, total length 5.5–6.6, almost glabrous ( Fig. 34 View FIGURES 28 – 35 ), with a contrasting dorsal pattern: head, pronotum and scutellum uniformly chestnut, dark brown or black; hemelytra hyaline and shining, stramineous, cuneus red. Vertex weakly sulcate, not carinate; labium reaching posterior coxa; eyes wide, posterior margin contiguous with pronotal collar; first antennal segment thick, long, slightly club-like and curved. A pair of stiff setae on anterior corners of pronotum. Tibial spines blackish. Mesoscutum exposed; scutellum somewhat arched but not ampule-like. Hemelytra translucent, slightly shining and almost smooth, their punctation very reduced, sparse, and shallow. Secondary gonopore complete, devoid of sclerite; phallus devoid of comb and true spiculum or phallic support (Chérot’s ACH). Parieto-vaginal rings reduced, devoid of anterior projection. Median process of posterior wall absent. Interramal lobes and sclerites developed.

Distribution. Japan, Russia (Far East: Amour, Primorsk Territory).

Host plants. Fagaceae (Quercus sp.) ( Kerzhner 1988a; Yasunaga 1998).
