Notes — Markgraf (1935a) indicated the gathering “Ducke n. 22456” (Ducke s.n., herbarium RB No. 22456) in the prologue of A. salgadense but did not cite in which herbarium the type would be deposited. Thus, we chose as the lectotype of A. salgadense a specimen from this collection of a Brazilian herbarium (RB barcode 00535080) (ICN article 9.3; Turland et al. 2018).
