ARGENTINA View in CoL ( Mello-Leitão 1939a): FORMOSA: Riacho dell’Oro (type locality) ( With 1908; Mello-Leitão 1939b), 1907, nos. 5, 18, 30, 31 (BMNH) (Ceballos & Rosso de Ferradás 2008a); CHACO: Resistencia ( Feio 1945).

New record. LA RIOJA: Los Molinos, summer 2000, Di Iorio leg., 3 Ƥ (MHNG), on Mallodon spinibarbis (Linnaeus, 1758) View in CoL ( Coleoptera View in CoL : Cerambycidae View in CoL : Prioninae ), captured at light trap.

Further distribution. Brazil (Distrito Federal; Santa Catarina; São Paulo); Venezuela.

Note. Ceballos & Rosso de Ferradás (2008a) recorded the syntypes (originally deposited at ZMUC) as being lost, but out of the eight described syntypes, four are housed in ZMUC and two in NHM, only two being apparently untraceable ( Judson 1997, Judson in litt.).
