* Cerithium cordatum A. Ali-Zade et Kabakova n. sp. —A.A. Ali-Zade 1969: 143, pl. 45, fig. 6. Type material. Holotype, illustrated in A.A. Ali-Zade (1969: pl. 45, fig. 6), SL: 9.1 mm, MD: 4.8 mm, Earth Science Museum at Moscow State University (The Museum of Natural History).

Type locality. Naftalan ( Azerbaijan) .

Stratigraphy. Late Pliocene/Pleistocene, Akchagylian.

Discussion. The only available specimen represents a stout spire fragment of Potamides caspius with weak sculpture.

Eastern Paratethys. Akchagylian (Late Pliocene/Pleistocene): Caspian Basin: Naftalan ( Azerbaijan) ( Ali-Zade 1969).
