* Potamides (Pirenella) borsodensis n. sp. — Schréter 1929: 385, pl. 9, fig. 2.

Type material. Holotype M.106, illustrated in Schréter (1929, pl. 9, fig. 2), Mining and Geological Survey of Hungary (Budapest).

Type locality. Pereces ( Hungary) .

Stratigraphy. Early/Middle Miocene, Karpatian/Badenian.

Discussion. This species represents a stout morph of Pustulosia submitralis ( Eichwald, 1851) .

Central Paratethys. Karpatian (Early Miocene): Pannonian Basin: Pereces, Várpalota ( Hungary) ( Strausz 1966; Kókay 1972; Steininger et al. 1973); Badenian (Middle Miocene): Pannonian Basin: Várpalota ( Hungary) ( Strausz 1966).
