Type material. We are not aware of the whereabouts of the type specimens.

Type locality. Zalistsi and Zhukivtsi ( Ukraine) .

Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Volhynian).

Discussion. The name Cerithium bicinctum is a secondary homonym of Cerithium bicinctum ( Brocchi, 1814) [= Tiarapirenella bicincta ( Brocchi, 1814) ].

Central Paratethys. Sarmatian, Volhynian (Middle Miocene): Polish-Ukrainian Fore-Carpathian Basin: Zalistsi, Zhukivtsi, (Ternopil Region, Ukraine) ( Eichwald 1853).
