Geographical distribution: Brazil and Argentina.
Distribution in Brazil: Northeast, Central-West and Southeast regions (CE, GO, MG) ( Ribeiro 2007).
Comments: Because B. dallasi has been misidentified as other species (namely B. anurum , B. boscii ), the name B. dallasi could not be reliably applied to several specimens identified by De Carlo. For Brazilian specimens, the correct interpretation of this name has shown that the species seems to be confined to the three states above.
