Geographical distribution: Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, Trinidad & Tobago, Panama, Guyana, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, and Paraguay. According to Polhemus and Polhemus (1991), the record from Belize (cited as British Honduras) present on Drake and Maldonado-Capriles (1952) is probably an error, because only specimens from Honduras proper were found in Drake’s collection.
Distribution in Brazil: North Region (PA, AM) ( Drake & Hussey 1954; Polhemus & Polhemus 1991; Pereira et al. 2007).
