Description. Length ♂ 3.9mm.
Pronotum brown. Scutellum brown, bearing dark brown angles (Fig. 13). Face light brown, eyes red brown, middle part of frontoclypeus white (Fig. 15). Forewing light brown, veins fuscous (Fig. 14).

Body stout, wedge-shaped. Head including eyes narrower than pronotum. Crown short. Pronotum broad, declivous, striations on surface dense, distinct, and oblique. Scutellum broad, triangular (Fig. 13). Face flat, longer than wide. Ocelli situated about 5 times closer to adjacent eyes than to each other (Fig. 15). Hind tibia chaetotaxy PD 10, AD 8, AV 5. Forewing with 3 anteapical cells (Fig. 14).
Male genitalia. Pygofer broad, apex blunt, without spines or processes. Subgenital plate slender, with marginal setae on dorsal region, apex with tuft of long setae ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 19 – 25 ). Aedeagus tubular, shaft slender, bent dorsally, narrow basally, shaft with angulate preapical projection dorsally, gonopore apical ( Figs 20, 21 View FIGURES 19 – 25 ). Dorsal connectives strongly developed, C-shaped with short lobe between dorsal and ventral branches and Z-shaped anterior process at middle ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 19 – 25 ). Connective small, with fingerlike protrusion in middle between dorsally bent anterior arms ( Figs 23, 24 View FIGURES 19 – 25 ). Style slender, slightly broadened preapically, with sparse row of fine setae dorsolaterally, apex upturned ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 19 – 25 ).
Female. unknown.
Material examined. Holotype ♂, Thailand: Kanchanaburi Khuean Srinagarindra NP Huay Mae Kamint / headquarter, N14°38.441’ E98°58.889’, 29 Jan–5 Feb 2009, coll. Somboon & Daorueny ( QSBG) GoogleMaps ; Paratype: ♂, same data as holotype ( INHS) GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from other Pediopsis by the C-shaped dorsal connective and the relatively small aedeagus base.
Etymology. This new species epithet refers to the type locality, Thailand.
