Genus Marshiella Shaw View in CoL View at ENA

Marshiella Shaw, 1985:329 View in CoL . Type species Streblocera pulvillicornis Walley & MacKay,1963

Comments. The genus Marshiella Shaw is currently placed in the tribe Townesilitini (Stingenberg et al., 2015). Prior to this work nine species have been described ( Yu et al., 2016). Shaw & Marsh (2000) presented a revision for the New World with description of three new species, all known to occur in the Neotropical Region: Marshiella bobela Shaw , Marshiella lettermani Shaw and Marshiella marshi Marsh. This genus seems to have a rare occurrence compared with other Euphorinae genera present in the Brazilian fauna.
