Host plants. Pest of cultivated fruit, bred from at least 11 host species, including Mangifera indica L. (mango), Carica papaya L., and plum ( Allwood et al., 1999).

D i s t r i b u t i o n. Bangladesh, Bhutan ( Drew & Romig, 2007; Drew & Romig, 2013), China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam ( Bezzi, 1916; David et al., 2017; Drew et al., 2007; Hardy, 1973; Leblanc et al., 2014, 2019 a; Norrbom et al., 1999).
