Description. MALE. Length 6.48 mm

Color. Body mainly yellow to dark yellow ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), but dorsum of Fu1 to Fu6, Fu7, clava, pedicel, anellus ( Fig. 8C View FIGURE 8 ), spot anteriorly on mesoscutellum ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ), external face of procoxa ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), spot on posterior face of profemur ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), apex of metacoxa ventrally ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), internal face of metafemur basally ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), and base and apex of metatibia ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ) light brown, with axilla ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ), axillula ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ), mesofemoral depression ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), and external face of metafemur basally ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ) dark brown, and the following black: antennal scrobe ( Fig. 8B View FIGURE 8 ), most of vertex ( Fig. 8D View FIGURE 8 ), median area of occiput ( Fig. 8D View FIGURE 8 ), inverted triangle on median lobe of mesoscutum ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ), spot on internal margin of lateral lobe of mesoscutum ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ), anterior face of mesopleuron ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), metafemoral tooth ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), and ventral margin of metatibia ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ). Wings slightly smoky, veins pale yellow ( Figs 8A, E View FIGURE 8 ). Setae white to pale yellow ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ).

Head. Clava with parallel sides, the first, second and third segments approximately of same width ( Fig. 8C View FIGURE 8 ); lower face with inconspicuous transverse carina below antennal foramen ( Fig. 8B View FIGURE 8 ).

Mesosoma. Median area of mesoscutum with regular umbilicate fovea, interstices not so narrow, giving sculpture a reticulate appearance ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ); mesoscutellum without wide basal smooth and shiny transverse band ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ), median unfoveate strip restricted to basal quarter ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ), frenal carina forming sublateral lobes ( Fig. 8E View FIGURE 8 ); metascutellum convex, smooth and shiny, without median fovea or impression ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 ); propodeum almost perpendicular to longitudinal axis of mesosoma ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), anterior costula conspicuous throughout ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 : ACP), median carina very short ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 : MCP) and replaced by submedian carinae that delimit a median areola ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 : MAP), posterior costula conspicuous and limited to posterior half of propodeum ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 : PCP), adpetiolar area without submedian carinae ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 : AdA); metafemur with 10 small teeth, basal tooth the largest, followed by a minute tooth and then by medium sized teeth ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ).

Metasoma. Petiole visible dorsally, about 0.6× as long as wide ( Fig. 8A, 8E View FIGURE 8 ), basal lamina present dorsally and ventrally, without median dorsal carina, but with at least one lateral carina ( Fig. 8A, 8E View FIGURE 8 ).

FEMALE. Unknown.

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. Brazil (Para).

Remarks. Conura sp. 2 is compared with the other species of the leucotela group in the remarks section for Conura sp. 1, but the propodeum uniquely has the median carina very short and replaced by submedian carinae that delimit a median areola ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 : MAP).
