Biscutella didyma View in CoL L. subsp. apula Nyman, Consp. Fl. Eur. 1: 59. 1878. [September 1878]
Ind. Loc.:—“Hisp.mer. Ital.mer., ins. Graec.(r.). Turc.ins.(r)”. EST, ITA
Type (lectotype designated by Raffaelli 1991: 24):—[s.l.]. “β Sp. pl. / a 2 didyma // a = Biscutella Iondraba alyssoides apula spicata Col. ” Herb. Linn. 831.4 ( LINN, individual on the right).
Note:— Nyman (1879) re-used the Linnaean epithet “ apula ”, which is illegitimate under Art. 52.1 of the ICN. However, this name is legitimate as Nyman implicitly excluded its type; it is a name of a new taxon with a different type (Art. 58.1 of the ICN), designated by Raffaelli (1991) .
