Campanula rhomboidalis View in CoL L., Sp. Pl. View Cited Treatment 1: 165. 1753. [1 May 1753]
Ind. Loc.:—“in alpibus Helvetiae, Italiae”. EST, ITA
Type (lectotype designated by Pistarino & Jarvis in Jarvis 2007: 379):—[s.l.]. Gmelin s.n., Herb. Linn. 221.18 ( LINN, individual on the right).
Note:—The Linnaean sheet no. 221.18 is actually an admixture of two different specimens. We assume that the symbol associated with Gmelin’s collections from Siberia (see Jarvis 2007) refers only with the unidentified specimen on the left, given that C. rhomboidalis is endemic to W-Alps ( Kovanda & Husová 1976).
