Megaphyllum metsovoni ( Strasser, 1976)

Material examined. HNHM: Greece: 13, 1Ƥ, 2009/74, Phocis county, Parnassos Mts., Eptolofos, spruce forest SE of the village, 1115m, N38°35.245’ E22°30.267’, 0 8.04.2009, leg. LD, JK & DM.

Distribution in the Balkans. Greece: Epirus, Metsovo (type locality) ( Strasser 1976).

World distribution. Endemic to Greece.

Remarks. This second record of the species widens its distribution area to a locality far from Epirus. The gonopods slightly differ from Strasser’s drawings, so here we present new, more detailed illustrations ( Figs 10–14 ).
