Material examined. NHMW: Specimen no. 23–50–89, 28.5.73 [28.May.1973] Andros, Ägäis, Slenies (3120), Gonop. U [and]. S [segment, i.e. body ring].7.; Specimen no.: 23–50–89, 28.5.73 [28.May.1973] Andros, Ägäis, Slenies (3120), A. [antenna], Gn. [gnathochilarium], 1. 2. 3. 6. B. [legs].

Remarks. This material was labeled as “ holotype ” and provided with a name which seems, however, never to have been published by Strasser. In the NHMW there is a label “Manuskriptsname” suggesting its unpublished status, from 1980. There are two “ holotype ” preparations in the collection: one with gonopods ( Figs 84–86 View FIGURES 84 – 86 ) and a part of the 7th body ring, the other with some walking legs and the gnathochilarium. As the trunk of the “ holotype ” individual is missing, we cannot describe it here as a new species. The gonopods fit well to the brachyiuline criteria, even to subgenus Omobrachyiulus , but differ from all other hitherto described species according to the bifurcated process (bp on Figs 84–85 View FIGURES 84 – 86 .) on the opisthomere. Until new, intact individuals are available, we can only refer to it as a species inquirenda.

FIGURES 69–78. Megaphyllum digitatum Lazányi & Korsós sp. n. from Greece, the Peloponnese, Zarelia, male holotype (setae and cones omitted, except for the first leg-pair and telson). (69) Left antenna; (70) in situ gnathochilarium (latero-caudoventral view); (71) telson, lateral view; (72) first leg-pair, lateral view; (73) second leg-pair, caudal view; penis from (74) latero-caudal, (75) caudo-lateral and (76) caudal views; (77) right pleurotergum of the 7th body ring, latero-ventral view; (78) left, anterior walking leg from the 26th body ring; (scale bars: 0.2mm). Abbreviations: c: coxa, f: femur, h: hump, o: opening, pf: postfemur, t: tibia.

FIGURES 79–83. Megaphyllum digitatum Lazányi & Korsós sp. n. from Greece, the Peloponnese, Zarelia, male holotype. In situ gonopods from (79) anterior and (80) caudal views; (81) left in situ gonopods, meso-caudal view; (82) right promere, meso-caudal view; (83) right opisthomere, antero-lateral view (scale bars: 0.2mm). Abbreviations: fl: flagellum, fs: finger-like projections, g: groove, h: hump, p d: distal process, p p: proximal process, r: ridge, s: solenomere, P: promere.
