PARATYPES (3JJ): ‘ Japan / Urata, Tanegashima / (island south of / Kyushu), 15 February / 1992, / 4358 [4358–4360] / reared ex larvae and / pupae collected by M. / Mogi from tree hole / detritus [p] // Sciria / tanegashimensis / Ježek et Mogi, 1995 / male / paratype / Cat. No. 33615 [33615–33617] / 1995 [p, red label]’.

Current status. Valid species, Telmatoscopus tanegashimensis ( Ježek & Mogi, 1995) ; see KVIFTE (2014).
