Diagnosis

Kokeshia xiei can be recognized from all other species of Kokeshia by tergite VIII subdivided into two hemitergites, left hemitergite VIII with a long, thick and horizontally directed process, with numerous thick spiniform microtrichia at its ventral surface ( Figs 23D‒E, G View Fig , 24A‒B View Fig ).

Holotype CHINA • ♂; Hainan Province, Lingshui County, Diaoluoshan ; ca 300 m a.s.l.; 10 Aug. 2008; Qiang Xie leg.; at light; NKUM.

Paratypes CHINA • 12 ♂♂; same collection data as for holotype; NKUM .
