Type locality. China, Fujian Province, Tainingli .

Type material examined. Lectotype, present designation, sex not yet determined ( NMPC): China: Tainingli China Fokien (h) / TYPUS (p, red paper) / Endelus acutiplicis m. Type (h) det. Dr Obenberger (p) / LECTOTYPUS, Endelus acutiplicis Obenberger, 1944 , Kalashian design., 2025 [p, red].

Remarks. Re-examination of the type of E. ( E.) acutiplicis Obenberger, 1944 shows that it belongs to the E. ( E.) collinus species group and should be places here. The species was described from an unknown number of specimens; thus, we designate the lectotype according to Article 74 of International Code of Zoological Nomenclature (ICZN 1999) to maintain stability of nomenclature in this taxonomically difficult group.
