M a t e r i a l e x a m i n e d: Vietnam: 1♀, 6 km NW Sa Pa, 22°22'N, 103°47'E, 1810 m, margin of pasture with bushes and small trees, litter and roots sifted, 7.VIII.2013, leg. Assing (cAss).

C o m m e n t: The above female probably represents an undescribed species closely allied to Zyras setosivestis SCHEERPELTZ, 1965 , a species described and known only from Burma. It differs from Z. funestus , which belongs to the same species group, by distinctly larger size, darker coloration, much longer and more slender antennae, and by the distinctly finer and shallower punctation of the forebody.
