Originally described from Bolivia. Only the holotype ( HNHM) and one specimen from Brazil have been seen during this study .

Material examined: Brazil: Mato Grosso, Jacaré , 1–30.xi.1965, leg. M. Alvarenga (1 NMNH) .

Remarks. I have examined the holotypes, including the male genitalia, of H. jenniferiduae (NMW) , and H. zicsii (HMNH) and conclude without doubt that they represent different species. The specimen imaged ( Fig. 35 View FIGURES 34–35 ) is the holotype.
