Hemitriccus minor (Snethlage, 1907)

We first recorded this species in May 2016 in Area A, in semideciduous seasonal forest. We had several other contacts with the species in August in Area D, where it is more frequent. Identified most times by voice. Accord- ing to the geographical distribution given by BirdLife International and the Handbook of the Birds of the World (2016), records for H. minor at EESA extend the species’ known geographical range.
