Type material examined: Paratypes: 1 ♂: ‘Paratype’ <red, printed>, ‘COTYPUS | Mannerheimia | afghanica | O. Scheerpeltz’ <pink, printed>, ‘ ♂ ’ <handwritten>, ‘ J. Klapperich | Kamdesch 2200 m | Nuristan 28. 4. [19]53 | Af- ghanistan’ <printed in blue> ( ZFMK) ; 1 ♀: same data, except for : ‘ ♀ ’<handwritten> ( ZFMK) .

Remarks. Mannerheimia afghanica is known only from the type locality in “ Afghanistan, Nouristan, Kamdesch”. Habitus as in Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–9 . Aedeagus as in Figs. 10–11 View FIGURES 10–11 .
