Solem leg., 7/ 8-III-1959 . ♂ paratype from Panama: Prov. Chiriquí: Finca Lerida, near Boquete , 5650 ft; 14-III-1959 . ♂ paratype from Panama: Prov. Chiriquí: " Barca area ", Finca Lerida , 5650 ft; G. A. Solem leg., 15-III-1959. All deposited at the FMNH ( Sierwald et al. 2005).

Distribution: Chiriquí Province in western Panama.
