Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: below Pongo de Manseriche on the Rio Marañon, elev. 550 ft., VIII-1924. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9477 ( Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: known only from the type locality.
