Material. Four specimens found in leaf litters at Imgok-ri, Gangdong-myeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do.

This species is rather rare and has been reported only from several European countries ( Devetter & Frouz 2011; Donner 1965; 1971) after its description from Admont, Austria by Donner (1949). The present study is the first one to record this species outside Europe.

It is easily diagnosed by its long head and neck, wide and round trunk with wavy lateral margins, and very small rostrum and foot. Its rostrum is very narrow and as wide as a seventh of trunk width. Its foot is also much narrower than the trunk and as wide as a fifth of trunk width. Another distinguishing characteristic of this species is the rostral lamella which is wider than width of anterior end of rostrum and without a median notch.

Measurements. Total length in creeping 280 µm. Head length in creeping 42 µm. Rostrum width 12 µm. Neck length in creeping 68 µm. Greatest trunk width in creeping 80 µm. Greatest foot width in creeping 16 µm. Spur length 4.8 µm.
