Distribution: India:N.W.Himalayas, Mussorie,Dalhousie, Sikkim ( Watson, 1957a). Elsewhere: Burma, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan ( Hampson, 1892; Watson, 1957a).

Remark: Two more subspecies, Deroca inconclusa carinata Watson, 1957 ( China) and Deroca inconclusa phasma Butler, 1878 ( Taiwan, Japan) are not known from India.
