Distribution: India: Himachal Pradesh ( László et al., 2007; Jiang et al., 2015). Elsewhere: China, Nepal ( László et al., 2007; Jiang et al., 2015).

Remark: The nominate subspecies of H. intermedia was described from the Russian Far East (Sikhote Alin) occurring also in northern China, the Korean Peninsula and North Japan ( László et al., 2007).
