Dorstenia psilurus Welwitsch (1869: 71) var. psilurus ( Fig. 5 )

RWANDA. Northern Province, Volcano National Park, Ibuhanga Forest, understorey of rainforest with dominating Dracaena steudneri and Ficus spp. , 14 April 2005, alt. 1670 m ,, Eb. Fischer 1227–2005 ( KOBL).

Dorstenia psilurus is recorded from Rwanda for the first time. It is otherwise known from rainforests or gallery forests from Cameroon to Southern Sudan, D.R. Congo, Uganda, Tanzania, Angola, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique up to 1500 m ( Berg & Hijman 1999, Hijman 1989).
