Distribution. A polyzonal holarctic species. In the Palearctic: from the British Isles in the west to Kamchatka, Sakhalin, and Hokkaido in the east, from the Polar Urals, the Yamal Peninsula, and Chukotka in the north to North Africa, Asia Minor, North Kazakhstan, Northeast China, and South Primorsky Region in the south.
