Distribution. A nemoral East Asian species: from Lake Baikal and Northeast Mongolia in the west to the lower reaches of the Amur Riv- er and the Korean Peninsula in the east, from the Vitim Plateau, the middle reaches of the Zeya River, and the lower reaches of the Amur River in the north to the Chinese provinces of Inner Mongolia and Liaoning in the south.
