Verbreitet von den Vispertälern und dem Aletschgebiet ostwärts (Distr. 3,3a,2 und 4). Bis3070 m (Braun-Blanquet 1919) und 3100m (Thellung 1919) am Gornergrat bei Zermatt. Abwärts bis etwa 1200 m: Simplen unterhalb Gabi (Gave).
