Distribution. Argentina; Bolivia, Brazil, and Para- guay ( Brailovsky and Barrera 2007, Packauskas 2010).

Material examined. 1♀, 20-XI-2008, Zamudio, Colleselli & Gómez de Olivera colls., PNI0452 ( MLP)  ; 1♂, 20-XI-2008, Zamudio, Colleselli & Gómez de Oli- vera colls., PNI0453 (MLP). 

Remarks. First record for Misiones province.

This species can be distinguished from the other species of the genus by the unicolorous basi and disti- flagellomere, the unicolorous hind tibiae and bicolorous hind femur that is mostly yellow with the blackish apical third, the glabrous pronotal disk, and propleuron, meso- pleuron and metapleuron with a large black discoidal spot ( Brailovsky and Barrera 2007).
