PARATYPE (♀ apter.): ‘Valles, Mexico / July 17, 1950 / Drake & Hottes [p] // PARATYPE / By C. J. Drake [p] / Velia / pueblana / Drake [hw, red label] // ♀ [p] // Velia / pueblana / Drake [hw, white label with black frame submarginally]‘.

Current status. Valid species: Stridulivelia (Aenictovelia) pueblana (Drake, 1951) ( DRAKE & MENKE 1962; POLHEMUS 1976, 1979).
