Report associated with sponges: This species was reported from Duke of Orleans Bay, amongst demosponge with rich epi- and endofauna, just below low water edge ( Bartsch 2005).

Remarks: This species was reported from Mactan Islands, Philippines (Pacific Ocean) at 15 m depth shallow subtidal region ( Bartsch 1985); also reported from Chatam Island, Port Blair, Andaman Islands (Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean) at intertidal zone associated with red algae Jania rebens ( Sarma & Chatterjee 1993) . Durucan & Boyaci (2017) reported this from Turkey (Levantine Sea, Mediterranean Sea) in soft sand at 30 m depth. This species was also reported from Bozcaada, Çanakkale (Aegean Sea, Mediterranean Sea) among detritius-rich sediment with seagrass Posidonia oceanica at 8 m depth ( Durucan 2021a).
