Type locality: NouvelleCalédonie: Mont Canala.

Types: 2 males, 3 females, syntypes, No 296a, NMB.

New records: NOUVELLECALÉDONIE: ad. M, St. 210. Barrage de la Neaoua (Ouen Sieu), 165° 32’35”E; 21° 21’57”S, 500 m, Forêt humide, 20.xii.1984, S. Tillier & P. Bouchet leg.

General distribution: New Caledonia (Tchalabel; vallée de la Tiouaka; Koné; Mont Canala; Mt. Dogni; Barrage de la Neaoua).

Remarks: A redescription of this species can be found in Würmli (1974) who studied material from Mt. Dogni.
