Remarks. This new species differs from A. analis ( Cresson, 1872) by having the mandible not angled, with its lowermost distal tooth longer than the others; the clypeus with its apical margin rounded and with the clypeal carina narrow and arched; the antennal scrobe carina well impressed; the pronotal disc with its transverse pronotal carina complete; and the mesopleuron with a tooth-like process at the posterior margin, whereas A. analis has the mandible narrow, angled, with four distal teeth, the two lower teeth wider than the others; the antennal scrobe carina weakly impressed; and the mesopleuron without a tooth-like process at the posterior margin.
