Type material. Holotype male: China, Jiangxi Province: Ji’an City, Qingyuan District, Jinggangshan University, bamboo forest, 27.1122°N, 114.1209°E, 73m, 30.XII.2013, Zhiwu Chen, Keke Liu and Jihao Zhang leg. (OON 16).

Etymology. The specific name is a Latin adjective, meaning “multipunctate” and referring to the two ventral group of three conspicuous spots on the posterior part of the abdomen.

Diagnosis. Male of the new species resemble to O. dentifera Simon, 1893 in having the strongly swollen palpal tibia and the pear-shaped bulbs with slender embolus, but can be clearly distinguished by the absence of cheliceral thoot like extension (see Dalmas 1916, P. 232) and the two groups of abdominal ventral spots ( Figs 8B View FIGURES 8 A − I , 10C View FIGURES 10 A − F ). However it seems more difficult to differenciate with O. pilifera Dalmas, 1916 which appears to have a very similar palp, with similar proportion (see Dalmas 1916, P.233 fig. 22). They can be separated from each other only by different shape palpal femur and endites, the latter with non-modified palpal femur and endites ( Dalmas 1916).

Description. Male. Habitus as in Figs 8A −C View FIGURES 8 A − I . Total length 1.52. Carapace ( Figs 8D, E View FIGURES 8 A − I ), yellow, length 0.67, width 0.57, slightly elongate oval in dorsal view (CW/CL ≈ 0.85), pars cephalica strongly elevated in lateral view, anteriorly narrowed to 0.5 times its maximum width, with net-shaped pattern formed by tiny dark spots on surface. Eyes ( Figs 8A, C −E View FIGURES 8 A − I ): PME circular, touching; diameters: ALE 0.07, PME 0.09, PLE 0.07, PME 1.3 times ALE and PLE; ALE −PME touching, PLE −PME separated from less than PME radius. Clypeus ( Figs 8D, E View FIGURES 8 A − I ) margin unmodified, slightly curved downwards in frontal view, with two groups of three setae on lateral rounded corners. Sternum ( Figs 8G View FIGURES 8 A − I , 9A View FIGURES 9 A − D ) anterior margin unmodified, longer than wide, shield shaped, yellow-brown, surface smooth, setae sparse and scattered, with tiny dark spots along margin forming small darker band. Mouthparts ( Figs 8D −F View FIGURES 8 A − I , 9A −C View FIGURES 9 A − D , 10A, B View FIGURES 10 A − F ): Chelicerae yellow, straight, with u-shaped space between base of chelicerae, with two groups of three strong and converging setae on the distal part, base of fang with two groups of two setae finely divided in distal three fourths in ventral view ( Figs 8D, E View FIGURES 8 A − I , 9A −C View FIGURES 9 A − D , 10A View FIGURES 10 A − F ); labium triangular, pale yellow, with two pairs of large symmetric flattened, leaf shaped setae (covering 1/3 labium) and a small flattened setae near the centre of posterior margin, anterior margin with two small conical extension ( Figs 9A, B View FIGURES 9 A − D , 10B View FIGURES 10 A − F ); endites almost parallel, with sharpen hook-shaped distal extension pointing anteriorly towards the chelicerae, with strong setae in the anterior lateral and median part, serrula absent ( Figs 8F View FIGURES 8 A − I , 9A −C View FIGURES 9 A − D , 10B View FIGURES 10 A − F ). Abdomen ( Figs 8A, B View FIGURES 8 A − I , 10C View FIGURES 10 A − F ) oval, yellow, length 0.81, width 0.61, strongly elongated oval in dorsal view (AW/AL ≈ 0.75), without dorsal herringbone band; posterior part ventrally with two groups of three large, dark circular spots; pedicel tube short, unmodified. Book lung small, round. Spinnerets small, setae abundant on each spigot, posterior spinnerets longer than anterior. Legs ( Figs 8A −C View FIGURES 8 A − I ) without color pattern; femur IV thickened, wider than femora I −III. Genitalia ( Figs 8H, I View FIGURES 8 A − I , 9B, D View FIGURES 9 A − D , 10D −F View FIGURES 10 A − F ): Palp pale yellow, femur with conspicuous medial enlargement and distally abruptly narrowed; patella shorter than femur, attached to tibia sub-proximally; tibia strongly enlarged, ovoid (W/L ≈ 0.68), more than twice as wide as femur, with numerous setae dorsally and prolaterally,; cymbium oval in lateral view, setae present on the surface; bulb pale yellow, pear-shaped, less than 2 times as long as its maximum width, tapering apically; embolus slender, dark, tube-shaped, with proximal part strongly curved, forming an angle of about 120° with axis of bulb, pointing inward, longer than half length of bulb.
