Remarks. Nannotanyderus incertus has a wing length of approximately 2 mm. Its description is based on an incomplete wing from the Upper Jurassic of Shar-Teg, Mongolia. Provisional placement of this species in Nannotanyderus was due to the small size, short vein R 2, three times shorter than R 2+3, and Sc as long as approximately half wing length.
