Description

Male. Body length 5.1 mm. Forewing 2.9 mm. Colour: wings bi-banded; head, pronotum, and mesonotum orange; metapectal-propodeal complex and metasoma dark castaneous nearly black. Head: head as long as wide. Malar space longer than VOL, convergent anteriorly. Median clypeal lobe rounded. Antenna long; pedicel fusiform; flagellomere I shorter than pedicel; flagellomeres long. Eye small [0.5 × LH], circular. Frons strongly foveolate. Ocelli small, DAO 1.0 × POL. Mesosoma: dorsal pronotal area foveolate, with anterior corner angled, lateral margin incurved, posterior margin sinuous; longitudinal pronotal sulcus complete. Anteromesoscutum coriaceous, longer than mesoscutellum; longitudinal antero-mesoscutal sulcus incomplete. Mesoscutellum medium, coriaceous, with longitudinal sulcus. Metapectal-propodeal complex 0.5 × as long as wide; metapostnotum with longitudinal ridge between metaposnotal median carina and metaposnotalpropodeal suture; posterior spine of metapectal-propodeal complex long, narrow. Metasoma: tergum I with ventral surface strigate; tergum II with dorsal surface polished, ventral surface polished. Hypopygium with anterior spiculum acute. Genitalia: paramere ventral arm of short, club-shaped; dorsal arm of paramere as long as ventral, swollen. Aedeagus slender, with apex not reaching paramere apex, apical margin truncate, apical sickle process short, lateral of margin of basal portion slightly outcurved.

Female. Body length 8.2 mm. Forewing 3.5 mm. Colour: wings bi-banded; head and mesosoma orange; metasoma dark castaneous. Head: head longer than wide. Malar space longer than VOL, convergent anteriorly. Median clypeal lobe rounded. Antenna short; pedicel caliciform; flagellomere I longer than pedicel; flagellomeres short. Eye small [0.5 × LH], oval. Frons strongly foveolate. Ocelli small, DAO 1.0 × POL. Mesosoma: dorsal pronotal area foveolate, with anterior corner angled, lateral margin incurved, and posterior margin sinuous; longitudinal pronotal sulcus complete. Anteromesoscutum coriaceous, longer than mesoscutellum; longitudinal antero-mesoscutal sulcus complete. Mesoscutellum short, coriaceous, with longitudinal sulcus. Metapectal-propodeal complex more than 0.5 × longer than wide; metapostnotum without longitudinal ridge between metaposnotal median carina and metaposnotal-propodeal suture; posterior spine of metapectal-propodeal complex long, thick. Metasoma: tergum I with ventral surface foveolate; tergum II with dorsal surface polished, ventral surface polished.
