Material: No specimen collected.

Literature records: SW Niger ( Roman 1974: Four specimens); 11 km NW of Niamey ( Broadley 1984); Gaya, Mekrou-Direct ( Chirio 2009).

Remarks: In Sahelo and Sahelo-Soudanian areas, this species is associated with perennial rivers, lakes, and marshlands. None of our study villages was located near the Niger River ( Fig. 7 View Fig ), Lake Chad or other perennial waters.
