Remarks. The holotype male and one associated female were superficially examined but not dissected. Meyrick (1925: 171) placed cycnobathra between acromelas Turner and tephrastis Meyrick, Edwards (1996: 108) between tephrastis and tetrachroa Lower.
Biology. Host-plant unknown.
Distribution. Australia (New South Wales).
