Remarks. The holotype male was superficially examined but not dissected. Meyrick (1925: 171) and Edwards (1996: 108) placed apentheta between meliphanes Lower and crocina Meyrick.
Biology. Host-plant unknown.
Distribution. Australia (New South Wales).
