( Figs 114, 146)
Nothris mylicotis Meyrick, 1904 View in CoL , Proc. Linn. Soc. N.S.W. 29: 421 [key], 426. Holotype ♀, AUSTRALIA: South Australia, Adelaide , 18.ix.1891 (Lower) (slide no. 30949; BMNH) [examined].
Xerometra mylicotis (Meyrick) ; Meyrick 1925: 171; Edwards 1996: 108.
Genitalia ♂. Not examined.
Genitalia ♀ ( Figs 114, 146). Papillae anales long, narrow, about three-quarters length of apophyses posteriores, sparsely setose. Apophyses posteriores about twice length of apophyses anteriores; ductus bursae about length of apophyses anteriores, antrum with long, spine-like sclerotization; corpus bursae large, drop-shaped, ductus seminalis from short cervix bursae.
Remarks. The female genitalia agree with those of trichombra in the long, pointed sclerotization of the antrum but differ in the much shorter apophyses. In the apophyses anteriores the base is more clearly divided into a ventral and a dorsal branch than in trichombra .
Biology. Host-plant unknown.
Distribution. Australia (South Australia).
Material examined (1 ♀, including 1 ♀ genitalia preparation)
Australia: 1 ♀, holotype (as above) .
