Remarks. M. arnaldi was described from two specimens (sex not specified) collected by Krüger at Zuetina on 20 September 1934. Only a badly damaged male without abdomen is preserved and is here designated as the lectotype. M. arnaldi is probably a synonym of Megacraspedus violacellum (Chrétien, 1915) . Biology. Host-plant unknown. Distribution. Libya. Material examined (1 ♂ without abdomen) Libya: 1 ♂, lectotype (as above).
