Remarks. According to Edwards (pers. comm.) the holotype of N. centrospila is a rather worn female, not male. Meyrick (1925: 17) included centrospila in Xerometra , one of the synonyms of Mesophleps ; it was subsequently transferred to Anarsia by Edwards (1996: 109), although it was not marked there as a new combination.
Biology. Host-plant unknown.
Distribution. Australia (Queensland).
